What Causes Stuffy Nose,throat Irritation And Cough With Phlegm?
Hello I m constantly coughing and I have clear phlegm and a stuffy nose and a itchy throat and it gets. Worse when I sleep I put vapor rub on my feet with sucks and actually stopped it for now but I know its going to start all over again what s wrong with me?

Hi,
Stuffy nose, throat irritation and cough with clear phlegm can be due to one of the following reasons:
Usually due to allergy and this is recurrent once you know the instigating or enhancing factors. Try to find out such factors and avoid these at any cost.
Another reasons can be viral infection called simple flu and needs symptomatic treatment.
Take Decongestant nasal drops like Otrivin and plain water steam inhalation.
Decongestant oral tables.
Either Paracetamol or Ibuprofen whichever suits you.
Complete bed rest to have early recovery.
All these should give you complete relief. If the symptoms still persists then it is best to consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and further management.
If the problem is recurrent then have a second opinion of an ENT Surgeon.
