Male 47 fit heart doing single flutters not unwell but annoying not overweight had palpitations b4in life but not as much as this week must be hundreds a day got gp appt tomorrow had 24 hour ECG last summer was ok no sign of prob I know it s common PAC or PVC strange suddenly so frequent all day tho for a week

Premature ventricular contractions/pvc's are quite common in general population.They generally do not need any treatment unless accompanied by symptoms.24 hour Holter ECG can accurately quantify these ectopics.Medical management includes use of drugs like beta blockers like Metoprolol and restriction of intake of coffee.Radiofrequency ablation can offer permanent cure.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
