What Causes Sudden Cough With Wheezing To A 12 Year Old?

Hi my sister is 12 yrs old and she had a sudden cough with wheezing last night. When she had been given black tea, ginger n honey, the wheezing and coughing have stopped. What can be the cause of it? N by the way, just after dinner, she had this sudden cough.

Hello. I just read through your question.
Wheezing from the lungs is caused by a mild constriction of the lungs. This can be caused by a cold, an allergy, or asthma. If it was true wheezing from the lungs, it is likely to come back. this can be treated. I recommend consulting with your doctor so the appropriate treatment plan can be implemented.
