What Causes Sudden Dizziness And Bright Light In The Field Of Vision?
I am 62 year old female... after a 48 mile bike ride, I was heading home I got dizzy and my vision was affected... if I took my sun glasses off it was so bright I couldn t see and I saw spots. even with sun glasses on I had to pull over until it passed. I drank water and a protein shake... it did go away.

It could be due to heat and dehydration. If you don't have any symptoms now you can relax if you feel any white or black spots again you have a retinal examination done to rule out any condition because retinal conditions like a hole or tear or vitreous degeneration which is degeneration of the gel inside the eye which is a natural age related process can cause such symptoms.
