What Causes Sudden Feeling Of Cold And Shivering In Diabetic Over 60?

My father has all of a sudden started feeling really cold . He is warm from the outside . He is badly shivering and can barely speak . He is 65 and diabetic . His blood sugar levels are 165 . I have put three blankets on him but to no avail . Please help .

Hi,
He might be having fever giving rise chills and cold feeling.
He might be having Malaria or some urinary tract infection or something wrong with prostate.
Give him paracetamol as and when required.
If temperature persisted then go for blood and urine testing to know the causeof fever.
Give him enough water.
Ok and take care.
