Hi welcome to HCM. I understand your query and concern. Swollen legs in your case can be directly related to elevated blood pressure and right sided heart failure.I advise you to have a 2 dimensional echocardiography,ECG and lipid profile to assess the functioning of your heart.Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate regularly.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6g/day.Regular physical exercise in the form of brisk walk for 20 min a day for 5 days.Drugs like antihypertensives ex Metolar XL 100 mg once and diuretics will help.Reduce the intake of fatty and fried foods.Fruits like pomegranate, apple, dry fruits everyday will help. Consult a Cardiologist for further expert management. Post your further queries if any. Thank you.
