What Causes Sudden Increase In Heart Beat And Blotches On Torso?
I was sitting watching a movie when I noticed my heart begin to beat very fast. It wasn't a scary movie, and there didn't seem to be any reason for the sudden increase. About 15 minutes later I noticed that I had developed blotchy red patches all over my torso, and my pulse was still racing. My heartbeat is finally starting to return to normal, is there anything I should do and should I be very concerned?
Hi Palpitations are feelings or sensations that your heart is pounding or racing. They can be felt in your chest, throat, or neck. You may: Have an unpleasant awareness of your own heartbeat. Feel like your heart skipped or stopped beats. They usually aren't serious or harmful, though, and often go away on their own. Most of the time, they're caused by stress and anxiety, or because you’ve had too much caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol, Initially i would reccomend you some of the base line tests of cardiology like ECG 2d echo TMT They will help us to find out the cause of palpitation Advice Follow up with reports
