What Causes Sudden Loose Bowel Movement In A Child?
hello DR am an indian.my child jonathan is 9months old all of sudden he got loose stools. stool investigation shows occult blood,pus cells and mucous also.he weighing 9.790kgs .he drinks milk recently we changed his formula i.e we were giving S-26 gold now changed to NaN WHAT ARE THE REASON FOR THIS.he sits without support,tries to stand,and he is not crying all the time.what food pattern should i follow.

Your child has acute gastrointestinal tract infection of bacterial origin.Give him lots of water and rice based food.you can continue his usual diet.Formula milk has nothing to do with it.It has travelled into his intestine through contaminated food or water or utensils or because of licking,chewing of objects.putting fingers in mouth
