What Causes Sudden Loss Of Voice Along With Sore Throat?
I lost my voice 2 months ago at a business meeting. I presumed laryngitis. I was traveling so I didn t see a doctor. It improved but I never fully recovered. I never felt sick beyond the voice issue. It s been 2 months and I feel like I strain to talk and I am still hoarse. Sometimes worse with use other times right when I wake up. My chest is actually sore from trying so hard to project my voice. It seems like one side of my throat is slightly swollen. Perhaps a gland or thyroid. Upon looking in mouth i see that it s red although I don t have a traditional sore throat. It doesn t bother me to swallow. I am not a smoker. Does it sound like a polyp perhaps?
