I came down with sudden nausea last Thursday and then that afternoon had chronic diarrhea. All that night the next day and Friday night.. Am not completely over it....still very weak, no energy and bowels still very loose. Not quite sure what to do.. I m resting, drinking fluids and eating little bits of bland food. Olivia
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of sudden nausea last Thursday followed by diarrhea which has continued till now, have been taking fluids and eating little bit of bland food. Very week and no energy, bowels are still loose.. Your history is suggestive you being suffering of gastroenteritis and hence you need the following: Clinical evaluation by a Doctor, examination of the vitals as well as general and local examination. Investigations of stool, blood and urine. To get a proper antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics. PPI like Omeprazole and Domperidone. Activated charcoal and other symptomatic and supportive medication.
