Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I suddenly have pain in my right leg/hip and can hardly walk. No falls or accidents. I am 61 years old. Had a total knee replacement last Dec on that same side of body, right. That has healed and doing well. Just started hurting last week unexpected. I went to Urgent Care. They did xray of hip. Found white sphere looking spot on hip xray. Also have UTI same time. Been having those for years. Can t seem to cure them. My email address is: YYYY@YYYY I also had breast cancer last April and surgery in May followed by two months of radiation. And, had a pap smear come back not clear this year. Did biopsy but said they just need to follow me with pap smears and check ups regularly. That showed HPV and I have no idea where that came from! I am divorced and am not sexually active with anyone. I had cervical cancer at age 21 when I was pregnant. I carried my baby but she was born premature due to the cancer and died at birth. So...back to the pain in my hip??????

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query.
It could be avascular necrosis of hip.Go for MRI to confirm the diagnosis.I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
