What Causes Sudden Pain, inflammation And Blisters On Ears?

I had a problem where my ear cartalage got hard and hurt, then the next day my ear was all red and hot, I put a warm compress on it and ended up with water blisters all over my ear, the infection went into my lymph nodes and behind my ear and I ended up in the hospital for 2 days on intervenious antibiotics and then 8 days of antibiotices after I came home, could this have been a spider bite?

Hi,

Well, the key thing is that insects usually have more antibiotic resistance than germs otherwise out in the community. Brown recluse is notorious for bad bites both due to the venom and also infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
