What Causes Sudden Rise In Heart Rate And Pulse?
My husband is 53 and takes blood pressure medication. He is an avid bicyclist and typically bikes 20-40 miles every other day. His heart rate and his pulse have suddenly become elevated and don t go down even when he is resting. What can cause this?

Most of the hyperthyroid cases present with this problem or altered sugar levels,
Or underlying cardiac problems
This is called resting tachycardia
