i had an incident a guy pushed and i hit my head on the table and i felt my brain move as if my eyes felt like they were gonna pop out it happened a few months ago never passed a catscan yet two days ago i had a seizure my doctor said the blood work was ok i dont understand maybe the second on might be fatal.
You should know that a seizure can occur in different clinical situations: in case of brain damage, in case of dehydration or electrolyte imbalance, etc.. Considering the fact that you have had a head trauma a few months ago, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical exam and a brain EEG. A brain MRI is necessary to investigate for any possible brain lesions, which can lead to seizures. Some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, thyroid hormone levels) are necessary to exclude other possible causes that may trigger seizures. Then you should discuss with your doctor on the possible need of antiepileptic drugs. But the decision in such case after a single seizure should be taken after a comprehensive review of the above test results. Hope you will find this answer helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Aida
