Are you using ear buds to clean the wax or are you using ear phones while running? Possible causes are: 1. Mild trauma 2. Ear bud induced negative pressure or discomfort 3. Infection 4. Temporomandibular joint problems
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid Water entry into ear. Drink plenty of liquids. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
