What Causes Sudden Shivering And Sleepiness In Elders?

Hi, my dad is a PD sufferer and today had a total freeze where he couldn't move-felt like his bones were like jelly. He has been sleeping a lot, hasn't eaten much and was shivering and very cold. he then got hot and has returned to a normal temperature. he has trouble sleeping so it could be that he was up early or is catching cold. Could you advise?

I advise you take him to the doctor and get evaluated for infection. it can be viral illness or urinary tract infection or pneumonia or some other infection. He needs to be examined by his doctor . Make sure, he gets adequate hydration.
