Twice now in the last couple months. I have had a sudden weakness in both legs. Was so severe, I had to sit down. The second time, I was at home, so went ahead and tried walking to my home from the yard and I did fine. Do you know what causes this? I am 62 yrs. old and in good health.

What Causes Sudden Weakness In Both Legs?
Hi there Sudden weakness of such nature can be due to either : 1. A neurological disorder causing weakness in leg muscles 2. Elecrolyte imbalance in the body. Kindly check if you are on some medication which could cause the problem . Since it has occurred only twice I think the second cause is more likely. Kindly get a serum electrolyte snd NCV ( nerve conduction velocity) of the legs Start on some neurotropic like pregablin till then an drink plenty of water . I hope my advice has helped . Good luck .
