What Causes Sudden Weight Gain After UTI Treatment?
I have had a chronic e.coli UTI for almost one year proven by culture and treated with antibiotics. I have had a sudden weight gain of 10 pounds in 10 days. No change in diet (i.e. always low NA) and exercise one hour each day hard cardio and strength training.

UTI is not known to cause weight gain. Besides, u have chronic uti since 1 year, but sudden weight gain over 10 days.
U need to see a physician to rule out any nephrologic or cardiac cause of weight gain.
