What Causes Sudden Weight Gain With Nausea?

I have ganed 25lbs in 2 and a half months. I usually have a steady weight of 145 lbs at 5 6 I currently weigh over 170lbs. I have also found myself nauseated often. I had my check up at my obgyn in July but I did not mention any of these concerns. I figured I must be pregnant as I am in a monogomous and committed relationship, but I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative. Is it possible to get a false negative? Or what things could cause a false negative? And if I am not pregnant than I am extreremly concerned about my weight gain.

hello
i appreciate your concern
low metabolism may be responsible for weight gain due to thyroid or liver disease ; you need to boost your metabolism by regular exercise and having healthy diet, and living a healthy life style.
I would suggest you following guidelines
have small and frequent food more of fruits and steamed vegetables
avoid junk, fatty and fried food or carbonated drinks
don't go to bed immediately after food keep a gap for at least 2 hours
don't take heavy food at night
consume more of whole grains and dietary fibers

You should consult your doctor for Yoga which will be very beneficial in weight reduction by boosting your metabolism.

I hope you will find this information useful and relevant to your health
wishing you a very good health and vitality
I find this answer helpful
