What Causes Sudden Weight Gain?

Hi, I am wondering if I should go to the hospital, I have been putting on weight daily I usually weigh 116 , my stomach and abdomal area are huge can not urinate that much and when I do it hurts I weigh 138 within just a few days what do you think I may have??

I am so sorry to hear about this rapid weight gain. The most common cause of rapid weight gain is fluid retention. With you reporting urination difficulties, I will suggest that you get evaluated by your doctors to see what the origin of this problem is. Acute fluid retention may be caused by a problem of the liver, heart, or kidneys in a majority of the cases.
