What Causes Sudden Weight Loss While On Cipro?
I am a 72 yr. old female with normally good health. On June 1st I began to have very watery bowel movements and have not had a firm bm now for 20 days. Have had a 9 lb. weight loss during this period. Last night I started a 5-day period of taking 500 mg of Cipro twice a day prescribed by my primary doctor. Does this sound like CDAD? Do you think I should move to the next level and ask to see a gastroenterologist?
