What Causes Sulfur Burps, vomiting And Green Diarrhea During Pregnancy?
I'm 36 week pregnant and everytime i burp it tastes and smells like sulfur/rotten eggs, and I'm also experiencing green watery diherra.. and I tend too get nasuse every time it happens and i threw up once this morning..I still feel my daughter moving but it seems every time she does it hurts and is causeing more gas. So i was wondering If you might know what it is or what i should do..
Hi, Thanks for the query. During pregnancy bowel movements decrease due to hormonal effect. Due to decreased bowel movements, gasses from the stomach can come out through the mouth giving putrid smell. Intake if iron supplements can give green color to the stools. Iron supplements can cause constipation, paradoxical diarrhea etc. So, if the diarrhea continues once consult gynecologist and get examined. If she recommends change the brand of your iron supplements. Take plenty of water, fluids, fruits and vegetables etc. This will help in regularising the bowel habits. Undergo ultrasound once to check the wellbeing of the baby. Take care.
