Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Swallowing difficulty may be due to cranial nerve palsy or myasthenia gravis or muscular dystrophy or parkinsonism or tongue stripy or esophageal reflux disease or nutcracker esophagus or achalasia cardia, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say where is the lesions (is it lingual or labial or chewing or swallowing difficulty). Please consult your gastroenterologist/ENT specialist they will do endoscopy, barium swallow X-ray, 24 hours pH monitoring, pressure monitoring or antimusk antibodies or Ana level, etc., then treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
