What Causes Swallowing Difficulty?

Dear Doctor, I am from India and aged 65 yrs. Recently, i find difficult to swallow the food . Now a days i dont feel to eat and dont get hungry. I shall be greatful to u if u could guide me properly --what is this sickness is , is it a cancer , is it curable.

it can be an age related swallowing problem or any growth or swelling. you should get an endoscopic examination of the throat done and a barium swallow study done.
