What Causes Sweating And Chills Along With Headaches?
Iam 76 and in good health. Saw my doctor Tues and he thought I had a virus. Five days ago I started having alternate sweating and shivering sessions. Not critical but very botheronme. Then Monday, I woke with major headache - concentrated between neck and head. Occasionally rotate to front of head. Called doctor and made appointment. Took two hi strength Tylenol. Headache was reduced but still severe. Doctor examined; thinks I have a virus and it will run its course. Hopefully, he is right. I am still having sweating and shivering but not as frequent. Headaches, continue non stop, Any thought? Doug D
Hello Welcome to Ask a Doctor Service I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. If this is the viral infection causing the headache then you need to be patience for few days then it will be alright, if this is not the viral infection then it must be headache due to migraine although several reasons are there as long as the headache are concern and that demands the investigations too. Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
