Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your query red inflamed throat along with blisters over the tongue can occur due to conditions like bacterial or viral
throat infection or can also occur due to
acid reflux which causes reflux from acid from stomach to throat and mouth and can cause soreness burning and inflammation inside mouth causing
redness and bumps..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case if there is infection you can be referred to Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can run a swab test to rule out bacterial or viral infection and treatment can be planned accordingly..
He can advise you to take antibiotics, painkillers, do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations..
Avoiding chilled and spicy foods and drinking plenty of water is also advisable..
In case if there is acid reflux you can be advised
proton pump inhibitors like
Omeprazole, antacids and take a soft light diet..
Drink plenty of water, take short frequent meals and avoiding spicy food is advisable..
For sore tongue and blisters do warm saline gargles and gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
