What Causes Swelling And Itchiness In The Foot?
Hi, I had my right foot swell a over a week ago, to the point that I have no arch. It iched and was hot. It lasted for 2 days. Now today my left is doing the same thing. I am 51 a fairly active. I dont smoke. I am a female. The only thing different in my diet is a stinging nettle tea that i have been drinking.I have not stoped drinking it since I started a few weeks ago. I also have Hep C

Generally, tea does not cause any swelling like this. I suggest you get a blood test for uric acid and blood counts. Look for your footwear also, if it is new or biting. If nothing works, then it will be better to have a direct consultation.
