What Causes Swelling And Itching In Eyes?

My husband's eyes started getting swollen yesterday afternoon. Today one is almost closed and the other is also very swollen. He says they do not hurt but they itch. He has no history of allergies. the only thing he changed yesterday was he used a new shampoo. Should we go to urgent care? He has taken benadryl a few times today with no improvement.

it is definite allergy. good you have noticed change of shampoo. start giving him levocetrizine 5mg tablet daily and apply cromal eye drop 3times daily. He should improve slowly.
