What Causes Swelling And Pain In Wrist After An Injury?
I cut my wrist by accident on a can and probably should have had stitches, but my nurse neighbor put a butterfly bandage on it and I kept it bandaged for several days because it kept opening up. This happened on Dec. 24th. Now I find when I use my wrist for more than normal activity, like shoveling for instance, it swells and becomes quite painful. What to do?

I would suggest you to show it to orthopaedic suregon and check if there is any pinch nerve is there.Also get an X ray done. If any report come abnormal then treatment can be done accordingly. till that time i would also suggest you to take Brufen and Pregabalin M tablet and Diclofenac ointment at wrist.
