What Causes Swelling And Red Spots At The Back Of The Throat?

smoked and injected meth, up for 3 days, didnt eat or drink much, feeling like there is something stuck in my throat suddenly, tried coughing numerous times but it doesnt seem to help, throat is swollen, red spots in the back of my throat and i can see it closing in... whats happening?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain smoking meth with a feeling of something struck in throat, red spots in throat and closing or choked feeling can be due to side effect of meth as well as heat and smoke can lead to inflammation in throat and all the symptoms are indicative of inflammation..
I would suggest you to completely stop smoking or injecting meth..
Do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations..
You can take Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation as well as pain or soreness if present..
Drink plenty of water throughout the day.'
Take a soft diet..
In case if there is a feeling of choking or breathlessness consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..
