What Causes Swelling And Redness On Face After Taking Benydril?

Hey, i have had this happen to me twice now. Im minding my own business( i work in a resturant) at work the first time in the bathroom and my face started hurting. I ask my coworker is my face red and he said yeah bro its all swelled up. It looked like i was having an allergic reaction. Problem was i wasnt bitten by or ate anything. I took 4 benydril and it kind of helped a bit but the redness was still there. My arms and neck and face and ears were all red. Inthought it was an allergic reaction. The second time it happened i was at home talking with my brother and the same thing happened. And now as im writing to you its been about 25 minutes and ive taken a cold shower because something on the internet told me too and redness has gone down pretty significantly. What do you think it may be and how concerned should i be.

I read it carefully. Looks like there is something that you haven't yet identified, that causes you this reaction. Only you can be careful and notice what is this cause. Once identified, the main strategy to treatment, is to avoid it. Possible irritants/allergents you may notice are change if temperatures, exposion to cold or hot, foods, beverages or components in them, detergents, ect.
Benadryl, is a medicine used for allergies, like you have used it. In general it hasn't big side effects, except sleepiness. It helps with itchiness of the allergy rash, or prevents it to become worse, but do not remove the rash that has already appeared. Will need time for it to heal.
