What Causes Swelling And Soreness Around The Pimple Area?

I am 17 years old and i had a pimple yesterday containing pus but when i woke up in the morning today i found the area above it was swelled and painful when touched. I am allergic to rice as well and i get cold when i have it. .and usually i eat 2-3 spoons of it in a week . So what are the possible causes?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you have a pus filled acne or Pustule over the face also you indicated allergic reaction to rice...
I would like to tell you that swelling and pain above the area of acne does not seems to be due to rice allergy but it seems that the area is inflamed and there is a possibility that another acne is about to erupt in that area and it is a stage prior to eruption of acne..
Nothing to worry as it does not seems to be serious..
You can start apply Clindamycin and Niacinamide containing gel over the acne as well as inflamed area..
You can also do cool compreses over the areas to reduce inflammation and pain..
You can also take Ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation..
You can also take a course of antibiotics like Doxycycline for ten days..
Wash your face with a mild facewash twice a day..
In case if symptoms does not subside consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you benzoyl peroxide and Adapelene gel.
