Hi,I am a 48 year old male and my weight 195 pounds and my height 5 10 and I have hypertension. Recently I have developed a open sore on the top of my left foot and it is swollen and soreness and with sore bones in my left foot also. It s been this way for three days. And it is still kind of sore and swollen and the open sore on the top of my left foot isn t healing and also my left foot is itching a lot now.I think i developed the open sore on my left foot because my feet was sweaty and it made my shoes and I didn t wear any socks with my shoes for a week and my foot was rubbing against the top of my shoe and a open sore appeared on my left that s when the open sore came on the top of my left foot.Could you please let me know how to treat this condition. Thanks Tracy Collins
Hello I have studied your case. This can be due to pressure sore. avoid using compact foot wear. keep toes open. if there is wound then you need to take care by dressing. Another possibility of gout can be considered. serum uric acid level will confirm the diagnosis. i hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
