What Causes Swelling Around The Vaginal Opening?

I have swelling of the tissue outside the opening of my vagina. I had a pap that dx me with BV and vaginitis. Was treated for both. Now yeast infection and BV sx are both back and worse than before with smelly discharge and itching and burning. Swollen tissue around the outer opening of my vagina is visible and firm to the touch. Very uncomfortable. Please help.

Thanks for letting us know your health concern. In the current scenario, I would ask you to see your health care provider for a proper clinical evaluation and get further management. You have to get your blood sugar levels tested too. Maintain proper genital hygiene. Avoid tampons and vaginal douches. Avoid sexual intercourse until you are healed well.
