What Causes Swelling In Abdomen After Having Progesterone?
Hello, I ve been taking prigesterone 200 mg for 3 weeks I felt great the first 2 weeks then started my cycle and have felt terrible since , been off cycle for 4 days now and not getting any better.,feeling exhausted and swelling in abdomen and face especially eyes. I also had extremely heavy flow not normal for me at all. I thought prigesterone slowed flow and prevented fluid retention. My hormone panel showed estrogen dominance . What is causing my symptoms?

Madam because of your estrogen dominance you are facing problem with menstrual flow, high estrogen will lead to thick endometrium which lead to more menstrual flow, progesterone one of side effect is abdominal bloating, it prevent fluid retention
