What Causes Swelling In Face, Lips And Eyes When Not Taking Benadryl?

My husband took slow-mag for a couple of months and has not taken it for 3 months. We think possibly dairy triggers it, but his face, lips, and even his eyes swell almost daily if he does not take benedryl. He has never had allergies before. He is not on any medications.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms of your husband seem to be related to an allergic reaction. I recommend him to do the allergic tests to confirm the allergy and avoid the contact with the allergen. Meanwhile, I recommend him to continue taking Benadryl daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
