General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The swollen hands in the morning are a sign of sleep posture. If you sleep on your hands and put the majority of your weight on your side, you could wake up with swollen hands. I suggest to change your sleeping position throughout the night.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
