What Causes Swelling In Knees After Continuing With Therapy Exercises?
I injured my knee a year ago this month. The MRI showed that nothing was torn and the end result was a a bad sprain. I had a few therapy session just enough get me going at home. I was told my quad was weak from injury from not using it. I still continue my therapy exercises at home. My injury is way better than what it was, however the inside of my knee still looks as if it s slightly swollen. There s no pain but sometimes a very slight discomfort. My quad is getting better but still does not flex like my other one and looks small and mushy. Skin is kind of jiggly. Should I continue my therapy or revisit the doctor again. What could be still wrong.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Chintan Pujara's Response
Kindly continue the same therapy. Do more of static quadriceps and dynamic quadriceps with weights. Do more knee range of motion exercises. You can do mini squats which involves eccentric activity of quadriceps Dr chintan Physio
