Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother is 90 years old. She had a mild stroke 6 weeks ago due to her heart being out of rythem and broke her arm 5 days later. Her legs and feet are extremely swollen and one leg has started weeping pretty heavily.
Is this the late stages of CHF and what would be the life expectancy for her?

HI
Thanks for posting your query.
Swelling of one leg can be expected due to stroke but swelling of both feet and legs is unlikely due to stroke .
Possible causes are CHF ( as said by you ) , Kidney failure or Low protein levels in blood .
I advise you to get the evauation done for above 3 conditions , these are 2D-ECHO, Serum Creatinine and Serum Albumin.
Kindly revert back with the reports.
Hope you find this information useful. Any clarification feel free to ask .
Regards.
