What Causes Swelling In My Nose?

I pressed on the bridge of my nose extremely hard and now it looks as if it s gotten bigger. I was hoping it was a bit of swelling but it s been a week and it has not gone down. Could it be possible that I created the hump I. My nose by pressing on it?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The swelling over the nose can be secondary to the impact by the pressure applied by your finger. The other possible cause can be a fractured nasal bone. So consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph like lateral cephalogram done to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile you can take anti inflamatory drugs like serratiopeptidase.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
