Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
good morning doctors ... I noticed that my right cheek is a bit more fat (puffy) than the right one (and also at the corner of the mouth there is not much visible swelling but I feel it and see it) I have no dental problems or sinus pain and I also feel the pulse at my swolling a little harder (like a throbbing but my blood pressure is normal) the swelling is exaggerated at night and even after a shower( this probleme started many years ago ... I hope to have a doctor answer:) thank you in advance
Your symptoms could be related to chronic parotitis, which is inflammation or infection of the parotis gland. You should consult with an ENT specialist for a physical exam. Anyway, nothing serious is going on.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
