What Causes Swelling In Sinuses Area After An Injury In Head?

Last night I hit the back of my head really hard on the kitchen counter. I m embarrassed to say that I had been drinking and I either passed out or lost consciousness for a few hours after. Obviously my head hurts today but also it feels like my sinuses are swollen or like when you get water up your nose. What should I do??

Hello,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having

It seems that you have a migraine which is caused by sinusitis. Here are a few things that you can do to avoid the sinusitis:
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil to clear the nasal passages
Take Cetirizine 10 mg every night
Drink a lot of water

Follow up after 5 days. All the best.

Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further.
