Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

From the history, it looks like your child has got some infection surrounding the eyes (Pre-septal/orbital cellulitis). It would have been easier to diagnose if we have the image of the swollen eye. It usually happens following a viral infection.

Your daughter needs to be attended immediately. She will require some antibiotics and may require a scan too. I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician, as early as possible for further care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirubhan Bharathy, Pediatrician
