What Causes Swelling In The Glands On Either Side Of The Throat?

The glands under my chin on either side of my throat are a little swollen. I'm 43 years old and weigh 165 lbs and stand 5 11. They don't hurt or anything my throat was a little sensitive like I might be getting a cold or something. I have been working with mineral spirits and enamel paint for the last couple of months. I due use a respirator but after I'm done I take it off and leave the garage while the paint dries. I've been on a muscle building and fat loss schedule for the last 2 years maybe since I don't have the extra fat around neck and just noticed that they were swollen I'm over reacting.

Hello,

You have to examined by consultant does there really a swelling or not. There is a thyroid gland over there it may enlarge in goiter or adenoma, infection, iodine deficiency can lead to it. You should check for T3, T4, and TSH which shows is there any problem or not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
