What Causes Swelling In The Hands And Feet?

Hands and feet swell. All joints hurt. Eyes start drawing. Can pass out, but fall down alot. Been to neurologist but no one can figure out what is wrong. Walk very stiffly, can fall over just when sitting. Had eye surgery as child by doctor who was not an eye doctor. Made a lot of scare tissue that can t be fixed and doctors think that may be what caused my problems. Any ideas where to go from here?
