What Causes Swelling In The Left Underarm?
Hi- I have what looks like swelling under one underarm. No pain. Just looks different than the left side. Not severely swollen but can visually notice a difference. Overall the swell area look about 3 long by 2 wide. Is this normal ? I am out of town and just concerned. Thanks.

As per your case history, you are suffering from an abscess.
My treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID like Ibuprofen for 5 to 7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, and excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
