What Causes Swelling In The Perineum?
My perineum is swollen and sore. It hurts to wipe. I do not believe I have a hemmeroid (sp?) as the soreness is north of my anus. I have had increased difficulty keeping the area clean. I have been more tired than usual and now have groin pain as well.

The chances of infection is very likely and in my opinion such case need to be treated with Tab Acetaminophen and Tab Diclofenac three times in day with Tab Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice in day, sitz bath may be helpful, hope this helps.
