ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello,
This could be because of nasal blockage due to dry air and so you started to breath through your mouth.
And the dry air has irritated your throat.
You could take some lozenges to suck this would help a lot. steam inhalations, and normal saline nasal drops would help.
If a doctor is approachable consult an ENT specialist and get treatment for nasal problem.
In doubt do reply
