What Causes Swelling In Vagina And Hanging Inner Lips After Sex?
Hi a couple of days ago i had sex with my partner and afterwards i was quite sore and swollen. it didnt hurt during sex but my vagina is still swollen and the inner lips are hanging out and are red. this has never happened before and has still not gone back to normal. what do i do?

Trauma during intercourse is the most likely reason for your current situation. Please avoid further intercourse, introduction of tampons into the vagina until the soreness heals. Please avoid douche and strong soap solutions. if there is any associated discharge, urine infection, enlarged lymph nodes and/or fever, please get tested immediately. You can also try application of ice packs over the sore area. Take as much rest as possible and avoid tight undergarments. Maintain genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
