What Causes Swelling, Itching And Burning Feeling During Intercourse?

Everytime my husband and I have sex, I end up irritated, swollen, itchy, almost a burnt feeling. Is this issue caused by my body or his size? It never happened in the beginning of our life together, but since the baby and the endometrial ablation...It almost seems like I am allergic to him.

Hello,
From your description, it appears as though you are suffering from deficient lubrication. Also when the vaginal walls are thinned out due to insufficient hormones, intercourse becomes painful and creates trauma each time resulting in irritation, burning sensation, swelling and sometimes pain. Please check with your consultant if you are suffering from any vaginosis or if you need some lubrication. If you are using condoms see if you have developed any allergy to the material. Hope this helps.
